Longtime Boulder Architecture Firms Stephen Sparn Architects, PC and Sopher Architects LLC to Merge Practices in 2015

Boulder, Colorado: January 5, 2015 - With over 30 years of practice in the Boulder area, notable Boulder architecture firms Stephen Sparn Architects, PC and Sopher Architects LLC have announced the merger of their two companies effective January 1, 2015. As longtime friends and professional colleagues, Adrian and Stephen see the merger of their respective offices to be enriching to both practices, and will result in a more diverse and comprehensive architecture firm. The combined firm, to be known as Sopher Sparn Architects LLC, will offer services in master planning, architectural design, and interior design. The firm will total 15 employees, enhancing its resources to ensure client value and exceptional creative design. The firm’s offices will be located at 1731 15th Street in downtown Boulder.
Adrian Sopher, AIA, is confident about the future of Sopher Sparn Architects LLC and believes the new firm will continue to cultivate the tradition of merging community service and engagement with excellent service to our clients. Adrian has demonstrated civic commitment to the City of Boulder by serving on the Boulder Planning Board for 5 years and has been actively involved in the planning of multiple projects in the community. Most significant of current projects in development by the office is S*PARK, a 10-acre LEED ND Platinum modern urban village that will be comprised of multiple buildings totaling 680,000 square feet of office, retail, restaurant and both affordable and market-rate residential space.
