Sopher Sparn Announces Associate Promotions

Sopher Sparn Architects LLC is pleased to announce the promotions of Erin Bagnall and Jamie Cannon to Associate in recognition of their ongoing contributions to the firm.

Erin Bagnall received her architecture degree from the University of Virginia in 2001 and began her career in San Francisco, enjoying and experiencing the West Coast aesthetic and lifestyle. While trying to make her way back to the East Coast, Erin happened upon Boulder and still remains here 16 years later. Erin’s diverse professional experience touches on multiple genres of architecture including multi-family residential buildings, affordable housing projects, commercial mixed-use buildings, custom residential homes and land planning. Her current project include S’PARK Ciclo, S’PARK Railyards, Washington Village and custom homes. She is also managing several entitlement projects in Longmont and Boulder. Erin has been with Sopher Sparn Architects for 12 years.

“I’ve worked with Erin for numerous years and during that time she’s always showed such dedication to her work,” says Adrian Sopher, Principal. “She is a key part of our success and we are thrilled to promote her to this promotion.”

A native of Southern California by way of Charleston, SC, Jamie Cannon brings a bi-coastal understanding of custom home design to the Rocky Mountains. She received her degree from Woodbury University in 2002. Jamie initially studied Environmental Design at the University of Colorado at Boulder for two years followed by a transfer to San Diego where she expanded her education with studies in Burbank, Hollywood, Paris and Barcelona. Jamie is committed to the philosophy of sustainability in both her career and everyday life. She has been involved with the Colorado Green Building Guild (CGBG) since 2008, serving on various committees, the Board and as President in 2017. She is also a Green Advantage Certified Practitioner (GACP). Her current and most recent projects include custom homes Terra Nova and Mod 7, along with single-family home remodel/addition projects and multi-family remodel projects in Boulder. She has been with Sopher Sparn Architects since 2012.
