A generous grant from The Boedecker Foundation provided funding for the design and construction of this intimate, 60-seat state-of-the-art cinema, lobby space, concessions, catering kitchen and restrooms at The Dairy Arts Center in Boulder. The theater space hosts independent arts-style movies and is used for performance and lecture presentations. The Boe, for short, has introduced Boulder to national art house special features, premier movies as part of the New York Film Critics national screenings, live opera and ballet performances streamed from around the world, and has participated in 22 cinema partnerships.
