OLIV
oLiv Boulder is a mixed-use development that includes 146 rental units and over 10,000 square feet of retail space in the heart of Boulder. It was developed in collaboration with Antunovich Architects of Chicago, IL and the local community to enhance the existing neighborhood through the integration of shared exterior and interior common areas, ground floor retail, and restaurant spaces. The multi-family residences are comprised of a mix of studios, one, two, three, and four-bedroom apartments to encourage a diversity of tenants. Designed to be contemporary, healthy, and community oriented; oLiv is intended to be a hub for students, young professionals, and adventurers alike. The piano shaped structure has two internal courtyards and a rooftop terrace with hot tub, oriented to take advantage of the striking views of the flatirons and foothills. Sustainability measures incorporated into the design include; (3) pollinator raingardens planted with native grasses and flowers to attract pollinators and provide on-site water-quality treatment, a 64.3 kW roof-top photovoltaic array that will generate approximately 91 MWh/year, high-efficiency vinyl windows with Low-E glazing to reduce solar heat gain, and energy star rated appliances.
