Awarded the Congress of New Urbanism Award for Best Built Project: Community Building.
Completed in two phases, the Washington Village project included the rehabilitation of an historic school building, master planning and entitlement for the development of six single-family structures and seven multi-family structures, and executive architectural services for the design and construction of a mixed-use co-housing community and the planned seven multi-family structures. The development totals 36 units, 10 of which are designated permanently affordable. It is considered a national model for environmentally responsible, sustainable neighborhood development.
