PrairieStar is a masterplanned community located in Berthoud, CO just north of Boulder. The Village Center will offer retail, restaurant, and office space as well as a grocery store and a large array of other amenities including neighborhood parks, open space, play areas, community gardens and a dog park. Sopher Sparn Architects created the masterplan for the Village Center as well as design guidelines for future tenants. The design guidelines ensure a commitment to the rural character of Northern Colorado while introducing a unique modern aesthetic to the community. Residents will enjoy access to plenty of green space, as well as trails for hiking and biking. PrairieStar will have over 800 homes when completed, including detached single-family homes, contemporary loft-style condominiums, and luxurious townhomes.
